This is the story of how a simple mid-life crisis led to the formation of the Clapham & Fulham “Mountaineering” Society and our attempt to reach the summit of Kilimanjaro. On the 19th June 2010, Andrew, Adam, Peter, David and Jonny will set out with the renowned Kiliwarriors to conquer the world’s highest free-standing mountain. Apparently it’s been done before…..but that doesn’t make it any easier! Climbing the infamous (not to mention dangerous) Western Breach route, we hope to reach the summit on the 26th June.
