While England sleeps off the crushing disappointment of last night’s lamentable display against Algeria, the team was up early. We’re now popping an assortment of pills to prevent various maladies and with breakfast over with, we started our three hour drive to the trailhead, punctuated by a minor panic as Andrew remembered he’d left his phone charger in his room.
We’re now bumping along a road towards the mountain, which we still can’t see as it’s shrouded in cloud. Excitement is building, and to enhance the fun, Wilbert (chief KiliWarrior) has brought his vuvuzela, which he’s using to frighten cyclists and old ladies along the way…..
